Check your personal health insurance plan to see if they cover "counselling services".
Your employer negotiates a specific contract with the health insurance company.
If you have coverage, you pay Ezreena directly, she will give you an official receipt and then you upload it to your health insurance company for reimbursement.
There is no direct-billing to health insurance plans.
Ezreena is a Registered Masters Therapeutic Counsellor (MTC), with Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT). Licence is #1035.
She is a registered counsellor, not a registered psychologist.
Ezreena has an updated Criminal Record Check in order to provide counselling services to youth and this is sometimes a requirement of a health insurance plan.
Veterans, you have a right to counselling - please inquire with your benefits plan:
Sunlife, Greensheild, Blue Cross
Crime Victims Assistance pays $60 per hour for counselling services, which is direct-billed. The client would pay Ezreena the difference.
ICBC pays $140 per hour for counselling services. The client would pay Ezreena the difference.
If you have a health insurance plan, check for counselling coverage. Ezreena is covered by Sunlife, Greensheild, Blue Cross, and many other entities including ICBC, First Nations Indian Bands, and smaller insurance companies.
Before you meet with Ezreena for counselling services, please email her your ICBC file number and adjustor's name so she can get authorization prior to your first session.
ICBC will pay for an initial assessment, then 1 hour sessions. They will pay $140 of the $175 per hour session fee. Ezreena invoices ICBC at the end of the month.
You can schedule 1.5 hour sessions and pay the difference privately or submit the receipt to your health insurance plan, such as Sunlife, Greensheild, Blue Cross.
